The Big Trick Exhibition and Adventure Summit Kayak Championship proved to be crowd pleasers.  Spectators regularly were regularly seen "oohing" and "aweing" over the latest paddling tricks.  Paddlers put their abilities to the test in four skill areas.  There was even Fat Monkey and Cowboy Boof sightings, tricks debuted at The Adventure Summit.

Big Trick Exhibition
Ever competitor gets two 10 second runs where they throw their biggest trick in their whitewater boat.  We hope to see loops, cartwheels, split wheels, stalls, back deck rolls w/out getting your head wet, and are excited to see some flare.  Competitors will be judged on amplitude, verticality, and style.  This subjective competition will be judged by our celebrity panel of judges.

Rolling Competition
Every competitor gets 30 seconds to do as many rolls as possible. You can use a paddle, or not.  Hand rolls, back deck rolls, and traditional paddle rolls will be rewarded for efficiency and quickness in this competition.  The paddler that completes the most rolls in 30 seconds wins.

Underwater Sculling Competition
Competitors will start at one end of the pool.  They will flip over, and then scull to the other side of the pool (swimming underwater in their boats).  Competitors can hand roll up or wet exit if they are unable to make it to the other side of the pool, but the first one to the other side wims.

Kayak Surfing
Competitors will start with their skirts on in their kayaks in the middle of the pool.  When the time starts, competitors will pop their skirts, and stand up in their kayaks.  Whitewater kayaks are quite tippy to stand in, so the last man/woman standing wins.
